Baby Striclyn · pregnancy week to week

22 weeks

22 weeks, 5 days. Special thanks to Aunt Noretta for the chalkboard design.

How far along?  22 weeks

Maternity clothes?  Yes.

Stretch marks?  No, but my skin has been itchy whenever I’m not putting on lotion.

Sleep?  Eh, not terrible.  I probably just didn’t get enough this week.

Miss Anything?  Drinking as much sweet tea as I want.

Movement?  This little girl likes to wiggle the most whenever I lay down to go to sleep.  I can’t even complain because I absolutely love it.

Food cravings?  Not this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick?  No.

Best moment this week?  We got to hear her heartbeat this week!  November 19, 2013, Baby Striclyn’s heartbeat was 155 bpm.  🙂  Also, we got to visit with some of Jonathan’s family before we left Tennessee, and now we’re back with my dad and my brothers!

Worst moment of the week?  The first worst feeling was when we got back to my old house and my mom wasn’t here even though her purse and phone and shoes were all there.  Next was when I was feeling like the walls were closing in around me when I was at the early Oliver Family Thanksgiving and I realized how different it will always be without my mom.

Have you started to show yet?  If you’ll notice the above picture… yes–definitely, yes.

Gender prediction?  Well were getting a lot of pink presents, so I’m hoping it’s still a girl!

Labor Signs?  No, I don’t think so at least.

Belly Button in or out?  This week we found out I have an umbilical hernia–so basically my belly button is in the majority of the time until I laugh too hard, cry too hard, cough, or sneeze.

Wedding rings on or off?  On

Happy or Moody most of the time?  Probably more on the moody side this week.  Sorry, Jonathan.  🙂

Looking forward to?  Next week (Nov. 24-30), there is a lot of grief before me but maybe even more to look forward to.  Next week, I will get to have Thanksgiving with my mom’s side of the family on Thursday, hang out with more Olivers on Friday, and have a baby shower on Saturday (By the way, if you think you should have gotten an invitation but didn’t, contact me.  My mom had addressed all but about 5 of the invitations and we don’t know which ones she never finished)!

  1. I love you Whitney. You and all your loved ones are constantly in my prayers and your mom is always in my heart….more importantly, your mom is always with all of you.
