How far along? 35 weeks (Feb 16-22)
Maternity clothes? This week it’s been a little more tricky. The weather has been awesome but all of my maternity shirts are long-sleeved! It’s a good thing I have a lot of my mom’s old t-shirts that still fit comfortably.
Stretch marks? Yep
Sleep? This week has been hit or miss. Heartburn is worse when I lay down, and there was at least one night where I got up SEVEN times to use the bathroom. After those nights, I wake up needing a nap. Other nights, I felt great and only had to pee twice!
Miss Anything? I missed my mom a lot (as in, more than the normal amount of missing her a lot) a couple of days ago when Jonathan and I were getting the nursery put together. I know she would have been in town and would have loved to put the crib together and wash/dry/organize all of the tiny little pink and purple and yellow clothes. She was always way better at that stuff than I am.
Movement? Our little kicker is still moving, and she feels HUGE! Well, at least she’s the biggest baby I ever felt push around all my insides.
Food cravings? Jonathan and I celebrated Valentine’s day early this week and we went to CHUY’S! So, I got my fix of delicious food early on and that kept the cravings at bay. 🙂
Anything making you queasy or sick? Yesterday, I went to the park with Lori and her baby Savannah, and when I sat down to swing for a minute, I was instantly nauseous. It was super weird motion sickness that has never happened to me before.
Best moment this week? It was a good week–got to see Jonathan’s side of the family, had a wonderful “Valentine’s Day”, got a letter from my MeeMaw, bought a crib, organized the nursery a little more, put baby girl’s car seat in the car, and we even bought another baker’s dozen of bagels from Panera Bread!!!
Worst moment of the week? Missing my mom when we were setting up the nursery.
How much are you showing this week? So I can’t remember if this story is from this past week or the week before, but it’s a good one. There were two kids, the younger one was a little girl who did something to bump my bump. I told her she needed to be really careful because there is a baby in there. Her older brother responded, “You have a baby in your belly? So that’s why you’re all fat?” He was completely innocent and sweet in asking this question, by the way; not quite old enough to know any better. He later assured me, “Before I knew you had a baby in your belly, I thought you were just fat like my dad!” 🙂 Kids say the darndest things.
Pregnancy Brain? See the first sentence of the last question.
Labor Signs? Nope
Belly Button in or out? Same progress as last week.
Wedding rings on or off? Still on!
Happy or Moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to? Painting the crib and finishing up the last of the shopping we need to do before she comes! I should really think about packing a bag for the hospital. . .
